Circulation Policies for Faculty

By Annie Smith, Reference/Instruction Librarian

The Library's circulation policies (rules about how long you can keep items you've checked out, the schedule of fines and fees, etc.) have evolved to try and make sure that everyone has equitable access to our materials.

You can find all of our circulation policies on the Library's site, on the policies page. Faculty have a few more options when it comes to checking out materials than students:

  • Books check out for sixteen weeks, but cannot be renewed without re-checking them out.
  • Items can be placed on reserve (physical or digital) for students to read or view.
  • Proxy borrowers can be designated to check materials out for you.
If you have any questions, please contact the Circulation Department at (801) 863-8886.
