The UVU Library Gets Radical

March 25 is feminist leader Gloria Steinem's birthday and this week the Library will be turning the spotlight on some of its resources on feminism.

GenderWatch

GenderWatch is a unique database that can be used to find articles about the history of women's rights. It contains articles from the volatile 1960s and 1970s that can help modern researchers learn more about the inspiration behind the Feminist Movement, their arguments, and more.

Women's Studies Books

The Library's Women's Studies section (fourth floor, section HQ) encompasses women in history, gender roles, feminism, family dynamics, gender politics, and many more topics.

  3. Great. Where's the men's studies section? Very sexist of UVU. I smell a class-action lawsuit brewing...

  4. Section HV also contains books about family, marriage, fatherhood, masculinity, and other topics.
